Time Travel Private Hire – Terms & Conditions
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before making a booking with Time Travel Private Hire. By confirming a booking, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Bookings & Deposits
To secure any booking with Time Travel Private Hire, a non-refundable deposit of 10% of the total journey cost is required.
Once your booking request has been received, you will be sent a secure payment link via Email, WhatsApp, or SMS. Your booking will only be confirmed and secured once the deposit payment has been received.
All deposits are strictly non-refundable. Any booking cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled journey may be subject to the full fare being charged.
2. Festivals, Concerts & Special Events
Due to increased demand, road closures, traffic restrictions, and operational planning, all bookings for festivals, concerts, sporting events, race days, and other special events must be confirmed with our team before booking.
Customers should contact us via WhatsApp or email at bookings@timetravelprivatehire.com before making a reservation.
Failure to contact us in advance may result in the booking being cancelled or amended. In such circumstances, a member of our team will contact you to explain the reason for the cancellation or provide an alternative quotation where applicable.
3. Vehicle Cleanliness & Damage
Passengers are responsible for any damage caused to our vehicles during their journey.
A cleaning charge of up to £80 may be applied in cases where additional valeting is required due to:
- Alcohol spillages
- Vomit
- Food spillages
- Excessive dirt or staining
- Any other contamination requiring specialist cleaning
Any damage caused to the vehicle, fixtures, fittings, seats, or equipment will be charged to the customer at the full cost of repair or replacement.
4. Outstanding Payments
Where a customer has agreed to pay the remaining balance directly to the driver, payment must be made in full at the time of travel unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Failure to make payment may result in recovery action being taken, including legal proceedings through the Small Claims Court.
For the safety of our passengers and drivers, all vehicles are fitted with CCTV systems. Recorded footage may be used as evidence where necessary in relation to payment disputes, criminal activity, or legal proceedings.
5. Airport Transfers & Flight Information
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all booking details, including flight numbers, dates, times, pickup locations, and destination addresses, are accurate when making a reservation.
We strongly recommend checking your booking confirmation carefully upon receipt. Incorrect information provided by the customer may result in missed pickups, delays, or additional charges.
Some return flights may land on a different calendar date from their departure date. Customers must ensure that the correct arrival date and time are provided when booking.
For operational reasons, Time Travel Private Hire reserves the right to subcontract journeys to trusted and fully licensed private hire operators where necessary.
Should we be unable to fulfil a booking, we will endeavour to provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice wherever possible. In such circumstances, a partial or full refund may be offered where appropriate.
Any refund issued will be limited to the amount paid directly to Time Travel Private Hire.
6. Flight Delays, Cancellations & Waiting Time
We monitor flight arrivals where a valid flight number has been provided.
For airport collections, we allow up to 60 minutes of waiting time from the aircraft’s recorded landing time.
If no contact is made with us within 60 minutes of your flight landing, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and release the driver from the assignment.
Where a flight is significantly delayed, we will make every reasonable effort to accommodate the revised arrival time. However, after the initial waiting period, a replacement vehicle may need to be allocated, which could result in additional waiting time.
If your flight is cancelled and we have not been informed before dispatching a vehicle, no refund may be available.
7. Alternative Travel Arrangements
If a customer chooses to make alternative travel arrangements after being informed that a driver has been dispatched or is en route to the collection point, this decision is made entirely at the customer’s own discretion and expense.
In such circumstances, no refund or compensation will be payable by Time Travel Private Hire.
8. Limitation of Liability
While we make every effort to provide a punctual and reliable service, Time Travel Private Hire shall not be held liable for delays or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Road traffic accidents
- Severe weather conditions
- Road closures
- Vehicle breakdowns
- Airport disruptions
- Industrial action
- Government restrictions
- Force majeure events
Our liability shall be limited to the value of the booking paid directly to Time Travel Private Hire.
