Enchanted at Knowsley Safari 2026: Group Minibus From Merseyside

Enchanted at Knowsley Safari is back this Christmas, and it looks bigger and brighter than ever. The wildlife-inspired night event opens on 20 November 2026. This year, it brings a brand-new light trail, a magical Winter Village and an original soundtrack. First, gather your family or friends. Then let us handle the journey with a group minibus from Merseyside.

What is new at Enchanted at Knowsley Safari this year

The new trail takes its inspiration from the Safari’s wildlife and natural landscapes. As darkness falls, your group walks beneath a huge silhouette moon and through trees full of glistening lights. Glowing tiger paw prints then guide you to the Tiger Trail. There, a mesmerising illuminated forest replaces the daytime scene. Sharp-eyed guests can even spot bright tiger eyes in the dark.

Next, the trail leads to a giant insect hotel with enormous bees and dragonflies. After that, you reach a world of shimmering disco balls, colour-changing light arches and six-metre-high chandeliers. Finally, a huge Christmas tree makes a perfect spot for the family photo.

The Winter Village adds even more festive fun. The Bus Yard serves loaded Yorkshire pudding wraps, churros, candyfloss and festive hot chocolate. Adults can also enjoy seasonal cocktails. Meanwhile, children will love the marshmallow toasting. Santa also welcomes pre-booked guests in his enhanced grotto, and the rides and amusements stay open and lit up all evening.

Dates, times and ticket prices

The event runs every evening from 20 November to 23 December 2026. Doors open at 4pm, and the fun lasts until 9pm. Tickets start from £9.95 per person. Rides, amusements and marshmallow toasting cost extra. However, anyone who books before 1 November gets free marshmallow toasting. Tickets for Santa’s Grotto start from £21.50. Because dates and prices can change, check the official Enchanted event page before you book.

A calmer SEN-friendly evening on 9 December

The Safari has also set aside 9 December as a dedicated SEN-friendly evening. This session supports neurodivergent guests and visitors with disabilities. Capacity is lower, and the sound and lighting effects are softer. The rides stay closed to keep things calm. As a result, families can enjoy the magic at a gentler pace.

Get to Enchanted at Knowsley Safari by minibus

A night out in December is easier without the parking and the driving. Instead, one minibus keeps everyone together. Your group arrives as one, and nobody has to stay sober to drive home. Our fleet runs from saloon cars up to 16-seater minibuses. So, we can match a vehicle to a family of four or a party of sixteen.

We also run daytime trips to the park. For more detail, read our guide to minibus hire for Knowsley Safari Park trips. For the evening event, we plan your return time with you. Therefore, a tired group gets home safely after the lights go out.
