The North West has a packed calendar in 2026. From arena concerts to open-air festivals, there’s a strong lineup of North West events across Liverpool, Manchester, Chester and Blackpool over the coming months. Here’s a round-up of what’s on, plus how to make sure you get there and back without any stress.
Concerts and Arena Shows
First, Liverpool’s Bank Arena hosts violinist and conductor Andre Rieu on Saturday 12th September, as part of his UK and Ireland tour. Then, in October, Duran Duran bring a huge arena night to the same venue. Over in Manchester, sports comedy show A League Of Their Own runs a two night run across the region on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th September, with dates at both major arenas.
Festivals Across the Region
As a result of the region’s busy summer schedule, festival season runs right through August. Chester and Blackpool both host multi day festivals from 6th to 9th August, and Manchester’s INFEST festival brings alternative electronic music to the city from 21st to 23rd August, with a warm up party the night before. Because of this, city centre roads and venues get busy fast, so early planning pays off.
Family Days Out
If you’re travelling with children, the region has plenty on offer too. BounceFest runs family sessions in Morecambe and Kirkby Lonsdale throughout August, and Liverpool’s Exhibition Centre hosts Comic Con Liverpool in September, drawing families and pop culture fans from across the North West.
